Yes, I know what you’re going to say. Mackenzie, aren’t you trying to be more healthy this year? Aren’t you trying to exercise and stay fit? Aren’t you trying to stay away from such things like cookies?
Yes, yes I am. But…I had promised my husband that I would make chocolate chip cookies to have on Christmas. That was the plan, except I got sick. So, to make up for the lack of cookies a few weeks ago, I made them for my hubby now.
What’re you going to do, right?
So enjoy. They are yummy, and that’s all that needs to be said.
I’m going to go find my yoga mat now…

- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Those do look awfully good. We generally only make cookies around Christmas time and my wife might make them for my birthday ever few years. If they’re in the house, they get eaten, so it’s best to avoid them.
Totally get it! I wouldn’t have made them, but I had promised my hubby
CCC are my absolute weakness, especially when they are fresh out of the oven. I will eat so many I’ll myself sick!
Right? Chocolate chip cookies are irresistable!
I LOVE chocolate chip cookies. I love the smell of them in the oven and the flavor combination of the butter and chocolate as you eat the first one out of the oven. Yum!
You and me both! I love these cookies
My friend Molly makes the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. I have her recipe, but they are just more tasty when she makes them. Did you notice any difference in taste/texture using the wheat flour? I feel like the bf would notice if I tried to make cookies more healthy.
I didn’t notice any difference using the whole wheat flour. I use it for everything I bake
Bf’s a little picky. I’m going to give it a try and see if he notices the difference. Often if I don’t tell him something is “healthy” or forget to tell him that the recipe has something he doesn’t like, he can’t tell the difference. Shh…;-)
LOL
I LIKE your attitude: eat on.
Stop tempting me! I am going on vacation in 31 days and am watching what I eat until then! They do look yummy though!
I know, I’m sorry
They are really good though!
