Dear Santa,
I know you’re busy and all getting ready to deliver precious goodies to those young and old. Between the yoga you’re doing to get ready to shimmy down those chimneys, to the massive amounts of coffee that you are brewing to get ready for Christmas Eve, I was wondering if you’d take a moment and read my letter.
I’m not asking for much, but if you could help a gal out, I’d appreciate it…
Once the holidays are over, and I get on the phone with my credit card company to see if they can lower my APR so I am not paying so much interest, could you make them say yes? See, I don’t even use this card and haven’t in over a year. I am trying to throw every available dollar at it, to make the balance go away. But the interest is killing me, and not as much of my payment is going towards the balance as I would like. So when I go to make that phone call, and a customer service rep answers the phone, I would appreciate it if they were bubbling over with enthusiasm to help me, and would be more than happy to assist me.
My second request Santa…I can call you Santa, right? Or do you prefer Mr. Claus?
Anyways my second request, is that when we start selling our stuff again on Ebay and Craigslist, that it really goes for top dollar. See, I have a sneaking suspicion that my well-loved and carefully maintained car, might decide next year is the year that it says “peace-out, yo”, and leaves me. My car is almost 8 years old and I am so thankful to have had it as long as I have. But I’d rather start a “new-to-me car fund”, and be prepared. So anything we sell, will go into this fund.
I know you can make this happen Santa. You got all the skills.
You make reindeer fly yo, so I know you can do this.
My last request, oh powerful one with the magical sleigh, is that you help me learn more about investing. Cause what happens is, I hear the word invest and any verbiage that comes after that word, starts to sound a lot like the teacher from the Peanuts cartoon. I really want to learn about investing so I’m hoping you’ll send me some earmuffs or something, that to me sound like Bradley Cooper whispering sweet nothings, but in reality, it is teaching me how to invest.
K, thanks Santa. You’re my boy.
Love, Mackenzie
P.S. I make really good cookies. You’re welcome.

lol, cute. I hope that Santa pulls through for you!
Me too!
haha. Best letter to Santa ever ! I also need a little luck to sell some things on Kijiji for a good price ! I hope Santa reads your letter and helps out
I hope Santa reads my letter too! I don’t feel like I am asking for too much
ha ha! I love this! BTW I wouldn’t mind if BC whispered sweet anythings in my ear. You always hear about cc companies doing that, but every time I’ve tried they haven’t. what’s up with that? If santa doesn’t deliver, try switching cards with no interest for 18 months. I did that. But I hope you get everything you wish for!
I think BC whispering anything is okay in my book
That’s a good idea about switching to a card w/no interest for 18 months. I will definitely look into that. Thanks!
You aren’t asking for too much! Santa will come through. Why wait until after Christmas to ask about lowering? You can ask all you want!
I was going to wait until after the holidays when it’s not so frenetic with everything that’s going on, but I may get going on that sooner rather than later! I believe Santa will bring me everything I want
Awesome Santa letter
Sometimes Santa delivers early so why not try to see if you can get your yes before year end! Every day with being charged less interest is a good thing!
Thank you
I am definitely going to call and hopefully, they help me out. I hate paying all this interest!
I hope Santa comes through for you as well!
In the meantime, maybe try one of those 0% interest Discover cards? I think they let you xfer without any fees..
Thanks Jefferson! I will look into that.
