Hello All! I am doing my first ever coffee date and linking up over to Alissa.
If we were to meet up for coffee…
I would tell you that the terrible twos are a difficult stage for both mommy and baby. The meltdowns are enough to bring me to my own knees sometimes and I try to search for the infinite patience I know is somewhere in my soul to handle it. I know my sweet girl is just expressing herself the best way she knows how and that it is just a phase. But some days are harder than others.
I would tell you that I am excited for the future. I am a normally a person that likes routine and it can be hard to get me to deviate from the norm. But these changes that are working their way into my life, are for the good of my family. And I have faith that everything will work out. I am being optimistic and that optimism is carrying me through.
If we were to meet up for coffee…
I would tell you that I have had a bad case of insomnia lately and some mornings it is all I can do to drag myself out of bed. I think my mind just races and won’t shut off. And couple that with the heat and being uncomfortable, it’s enough to make this mama cuckoo.
I would tell you that I am a bit nervous about attending the Penelope Lane Boutique and Bloggers Conference. I hope it goes well and I meet some new friends. I also hope to really learn a lot from women who are opening their hearts and minds and sharing what they know.
I would tell you that my husband is amazing and that I am so thankful to have him in my life.
If we were to meet up for coffee, what would you share?

Yes, my son is also headed into the terrible two’s. It is so difficult!!! I feel ya Mama! I’m here from the coffee date friday as well
Oh, I’m so glad you understand! The twos are indeed a rough stage!
I’m jealous you are going to the Penelope conference!! Have a blast!
Thank you! I am nervous, but excited
Oh, I love this so much. Coffee dates with friends are seriously underestimated. Hope your insomnia passes soon – until then, that’s what coffee is for.
Thanks Jen! I agree, coffee dates are seriously underestimated. I think we all need more of them
