Little late to the party, but here are my goals for the month:
Try 4 new recipes: I’ve been a little lax on the whole trying out some new recipes thing, and I need to get back into it. It’s been so hot that I don’t feel like cooking and that just isn’t going to cut it anymore.
Storytime at the library: I took a break this summer doing this with my daughter, but now that summer seems to be officially over, I want to start going again. Please don’t let their be tantrums, please don’t let there be tantrums…
Drink more water…again: I fell off the water wagon and feel like such a slacker! I drink water but not nearly enough. Gotta climb back on the proverbial horse.
Find a Halloween costume: For my daughter, not me. Although the other way around might be interesting
I want to find a costume before I am left in the aisle with remnants of mis-matched costumes. Cinder-Dora, anyone?
Did you set any goals this month?

I love the idea of setting monthly goals! Thanks for reminding me about Halloween costumes (already!?), and I definitely need to be trying some new recipes too… I’d better get to work! I’m so happy you came by my blog today! I’d love for you to come link up to the Mommy-Brain Mixer on Thursdays, friend!
Thanks Cassie! I would love to link up to the Mommy-Brain Mixer
I am so glad I found your blog!
Ha @ no tantrums. Good luck!
I have a Halloween costume goal of no more than $10 a child again. Last year, oldest was a zombie (old clothes and makeup by moi), 8yo was a robot (box painted with dryer venting on his arms), and my little miss was only a couple months old…so Walmart skeleton onesie for her! This year, the oldest is still undecided, 8 y/o wants to be a ninja (black clothes, done?) and hopefully little miss will fit into her brother’s old elephant costume he wore when he was 6 months old. It’s size 12-24 months and it was huge on my son…but still looked cute. She’ll be almost 16 months then! So hopefully it will work. I’ll just add one of her big pink bows to one of the ears so everyone knows she’s a girl!
Oh, a cute little elephant! Awwwww… I think costumes for babies and toddlers have to be some of the cutest costumes around! They are just so adorable
Drink more water should always be a goal for me too. I have to remind myself to do it. Add lemon to ice cold water. It makes it more interesting at least.
I really wish I liked lemon in my water, but I don’t
Maybe adding Crystal Light or something? But then, that sorta takes away from the health benefits, huh? Gah…why is it so hard to drink water??
