I wish fall would hurry up and get here already! I am over being hot, I am over flip-flops, and I am over burning my hands on a hot steering wheel (you’d think I’d learn by now, but apparently I am a glutton for punishment).

The Vampire Diaries. OMG, I love this show and I can’t believe the season premiere is not until October! I am waiting for this show to return… I didn’t say patiently, but I am waiting.
Hot chocolate, warm apple cider, pumpkin lattes… *swoon*
Halloween! Still debating which costume I am going to get for my daughter. I figure I still have a few years to dress her in something I like before the whole “I wanna be a princess” phase kicks in and she’s immersed in glitter for the next 5 years. *shudder*
Leaves changing colors! Cooler temperatures! Getting dark earlier!
Scarves, boots, and cardigans. Oh my!

I was feeling all panicy that summer was ending, but you’ve reminded me why fall is my favorite! Ah, the season when I like to pretend that THIS time, if I really apply myself, I could be swimsuit-ready in time for next summer.
I will never be swimsuit-ready. It’s a sad fact, but there it is… I prefer hiding under over-sized umbrellas at the beach under a cover-up, ginormous floppy hat, and Jackie O sunglasses
SCARVES! Lol! I love scarves and boots and belts and wearing jewelry without it getting sticky from the heat–I’m with you, girl!

I am so over summer. I’m tired of going to the pool, I’m tired of sweating, and I’m tired of running the air conditioner. I am looking forward to living in my yoga pants, having the windows open (even if temporarily), and most importantly, being able to send my daughter to school and have some semblance of a routine.
The sweating! Gah! So gross and I too, am over that aspect. Summer, it’s been fun. But it’s time for you to be on your way.
I love fall! Apple picking, pumpkin picking, the donuts from the apple orchard… yum!

I am loving the summer, but I must admit I am a total fall junkie. All the stews, apple anything and a new series of Criminal Minds!
